52.5k tonnes of salmon harvested and 6.3million smolts shipped y/e March 2025

An average of 55 vessels each month used the Harbour. This includes fishing vessels, ferries, workboats and other commercial vessels.

c.28,000 tonnes of Aquaculture feed shipped in 2024, along with 6,500 tonnes of housing materials, livestock, and various other cargo.

£5.129 million seafood landed (value)
£5.129 million value of seafood was landed in 2024, generating dues of over £100k.

7 ferry routes carrying 290k passengers
Ferries sailed to 7 destinations, Skye Eigg, Muck, Rum, Canna, Knoydart and South Uist, carrying around 290k passengers and almost 79,000 vehicles .

1,042 yachts
1,042 yachts used the marina, staying for a total of 1,743 nights in 2024.

Community
Community support throughout the year included sponsorship of Mallaig FC; financial support for West Word, the Christmas Lunch, Highland Games, RNLI as well as practical support with Christmas Lights and other projects.

Property
We lease various property around the Harbour to over 20 organisations including MOWI, Denholms and Mallaig and District Men’s Shed! Purchased Unit 15 to renovate.
